3. Contacting me

4. Clients and assignments
To carry out an assignment, I process the necessary contact, project and billing details. Photos and videos created during an assignment may show people, rooms or products. They are used only for the agreed purpose.
To carry out an assignment, I process the necessary contact, project and billing details. Photos and videos created during an assignment may show people, rooms or products. They are used only for the agreed purpose.
During the project, files are stored only by me, with a professional cloud storage provider. They are not shared with third parties through this storage. Data is encrypted during transfer and while stored, and is protected by two-factor authentication. The provider may operate data centres outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the USA. Where data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of data protection, this is done on the basis of recognised safeguards, such as the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
The final files are delivered as agreed with the client, either on a separate storage device or through an online file transfer service such as WeTransfer. When a transfer service is used, the files are stored by that provider for a limited time and then deleted automatically.
After delivery, project files may be kept in my archive. However, I am under no obligation to keep them and cannot guarantee that they will remain available. From the moment the client confirms receipt of the final files, the client is solely responsible for storing and backing up the files. Clients can request deletion of their project files at any time by writing to contact@pescoframes.ch. The only images used publicly are a small selection that the client has agreed may be shown as references in my portfolio.
5. How long data is kept
Enquiries: until the request has been dealt with, and then for a maximum of 12 months.
Project files (photos and videos): may be kept in my archive for up to 5 years after delivery, without any obligation to do so. Deleted earlier on request.
Portfolio references: only with the client’s consent, for as long as they are shown.
Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by Swiss law.
